About this blog
Cooking isn’t hard as you think it is, some may love it and
some may not love it. Cooking shouldn’t take hours. From prepping the
ingredients to washing the dishes shouldn’t take longer than eating. I've
been there. Cooking and cleaning for three hours, so you can eat the food
within forty minutes is fun! Here is where I want to come in and show you some
of the recipes I have cooked over the past couple years. You will only find
Vietnamese cuisine on this blog since that is all I have learned so far. Food
should be good and healthy. You should be able find all the spices that you
needed in freshly made meals along with special herbs at your local farmer's market. Lastly, I want to point out to you all the food lovers out there that
Vietnamese food has a huge range and not just Pho. Pho is common and if you eat
the same thing over and over every time you step foot into a Vietnamese
restaurant, you are doing it wrong. I know trying new things takes a lot of
confidence, but life is short and you should explore new things so
you won't have any regrets. SO you should look at my blog and if something
looks tasty, check it out the next time you step into a Vietnamese restaurant.
I promise, it will be worth it!
About Me
I am the second generations Vietnamese American and I have
been cooking Vietnamese food for three years. My family’s pride and also our
priceless tradition are our secret family recipes. My grandma has owned a restaurant for over forty years and my parents has had their
restaurant here in San Francisco for twenty one years. So, what is better than
getting kitchen insights from these sweet loving experts? If you read my first
blog, you will probably have known that I spend most of my time around my parent’s
restaurant and over the past few years I have picked up a few skills that come in handy.
